Coalition for an Active South LA
3rd Tuesday of every month. 10am-Noon

The Coalition for an Active South LA works to overcome obstacles to physical activity by transforming the natural and built environment to encourage a safe, well-rounded, healthy lifestyle and to integrate health and environmental policy into land-use management, community planning, and urban design. LA Access to Health Coverage Coalition
4th Tuesday of odd-numbered months. 9am-Noon

LA Access works to increase enrollment in public and private health coverage programs and advocate for the expansion of health coverage options for under-served, uninsured residents in Los Angeles County.

Food Policy Roundtable
4th Thursday of every month. 10am-12pm

The Food Policy Roundtable is a coalition organized to improve food quality in existing retail food venues such as grocery and convenience stores. The Roundtable promotes the Standards of Quality developed by CHC to hold food retailers accountable in the sale and promotion of food. Working with Neighborhood Food Watch campaign members, the Food Policy Roundtable completes Store Quality Checklists; analyzes survey results; makes policy and practice recommendations developed from survey findings; and collaborates with the Environmental Health Division of the LA County Department of Public Health in regulation enforcement.

South LA Leadership Roundtable
2nd Thursday of every month. 9-11am

The South LA Healthcare Leadership Roundtable works toward strengthening the safety net infrastructure of South Los Angeles. Membership is by invitation only.

Covering Kids & Families California
2nd Tuesday of odd months. 10am-1:30pm

The Covering Kids & Families California works to reduce the number of uninsured children and adults eligible for public healthcare coverage but not enrolled. The Statewide Coalition meetings are used to review policy and build greater coordination between the public and private sectors. Please RSVP.
